What this website does
The Webfunder provides educational guides, a tool directory, a downloadable checklist, and a browser-based calculator. There are no user accounts, online checkout, or on-site message forms.
Calculator and browsing
Calculator entries are processed in your browser. This website does not submit those entries to a server or save them in cookies or local storage. Tool filters and navigation also work without storing a profile.
The guide finder downloads a public article index and matches searches in your browser. Recommendations use article topics, tags, and reading level, not a visitor profile. Search and filter choices appear in the page URL; browsing progress is kept in the current browser history entry, not cookies or local storage. A shared or reloaded URL can include those search terms in normal hosting request logs, so do not enter sensitive information into the finder.
Hosting and technical information
The hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and timestamps to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from information you type into the calculator. Retention and processing depend on the hosting service in use.
Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense is enabled on content pages at thewebfunder.com. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver, measure, prevent abuse of, and personalize advertising where permitted. The ads and privacy choices available depend on your location, selections, and applicable requirements.
Google’s certified Privacy & messaging consent manager presents the relevant choices and remembers them using its own consent storage. Where consent is required, you can accept, refuse, or manage optional advertising purposes and vendors in that message. Our cookie-settings card only opens those controls; closing it does not give consent, and this site does not store a separate blanket acceptance flag.
Local development and noncanonical preview URLs do not load the advertising or Google consent scripts. The guide indexes, contact, about, privacy, disclosure, and missing-page screens also do not load ad scripts.
Review your cookie choices
Use Cookie choices to open Google’s consent settings. Use Do not sell or share my personal information for applicable U.S. opt-out choices. These entrypoints are available in the footer, and cookie choices are also in the main navigation. Utility pages take you to the homepage to open the Google controls without placing ads on the utility page.
You can revisit cookie consent after making a selection. Google may ask again when a choice expires or the relevant configuration changes. Clearing browser storage or using another browser may also require a new choice. If controls cannot load, no choice is silently assumed by this website; you can keep reading and contact support@thewebfunder.com for help.
